Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has banned entry of 14 religious scholars of different schools of thought in the city, while banned 11 others from delivering speeches for two months. An official said that the ban has been imposed on four religious scholars each from Deoband and Shia schools of thought and three banned scholars belonged to Barelvi sect.
He said that ban on delivering speeches will be imposed on Maulana Abdul Aziz, Maulana Abdul Razaq Haidri, Abdur Rehaman Muavia, Qari Ihsan Ullah, Imtiaz Kazmi, Maulana Liaqat Rizvi, Mohsin Ali Naqvi, Agha Shaifa Najfi, Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffari, and Allama Muhammad Amin Shahidi. The ICT administration also imposed ban on the entry of 14 religious scholars to maintain law and order.
