NAB arrests a proclaimed accused

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Karachi on Thursday arrested one Noman Ali Bhatti, proprietor of a business firm M/s Expose International. He was wanted in a reference filed against him at the Accountability Court Karachi on charges of obtaining illegal sales tax refund by using fake invoices, thus causing loss to the national exchequer to the tune of rupees 30 million. Bhatti was also declared a proclaimed offender by the Accountability Court. He will be produced before the Accountability Court today for remand in judicial custody.
