Gulzar Firoz, Chief Spokesman of UBG in a press statement strongly condemned the statements of Businessmen Panel issued by Anjum Nisar Secretary General and Senator Ghulam Ali regarding corruption charges and failure of S.M. Muneer as Chief Executive, TDAP. He said that on the contrary one of the most successful CE TDAP was S.M. Muneer and during his tenure he gave TDAP a corporate culture, made TDAP totally corruption-free and was in very close coordination with trade and industry. The exports of Pakistan declined due to severe recession in worldwide exports.
Gulzar Firoz said that whenever the time comes for the election of FPCCI, the opposition which has lost three elections badly have "Muneer - Fobia" as they have no agenda for the welfare of business community. He said that the opposition have wrong perception that by leveling false accusations they can win election.
He said that opposition is living in fool's paradise and will lose once again in the upcoming election of FPCCI. He said that Muneer is a person of integrity, accepted leader throughout Pakistan, pays huge taxes and Zakat, never took any salary or perks from TDAP and saved huge amount in organizing expo in Karachi. Any false accusation of corruption charges against S.M. Muneer can never be accepted by any businessman in Pakistan. He further said that the business community fully supports the appointment of CE TDAP from the business Community, which has always been past practice.-PR
