Doll designed after Taimur leaves parents Saif, Kareena surprised
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s son Taimur may not be even two years old, but his popularity is unmatched. The little bundle of joy has now got a doll designed after him.
Just yesterday, the internet was ablaze with the pictures of a new doll which has been designed on Taimur and it has already become the best seller in India. Reportedly, the doll, which is manufactured by Speedage, is available online. It is selling like hot cakes on an online shopping website for baby products. Fans can buy their very own Taimur doll for INR 1097.60.
Reacting to that, doting parent Saif told Hindustan Times, “Maybe I should trademark his name. The least they could do is send me one. I am glad people are benefiting from him. I only ask God for his safety and happiness in return”.
Kareena, however, was quite surprised after seeing Taimur-inspired doll and couldn’t believe that. She insisted that she wants to give her son a normal life but it’s getting tough for them as the two-year-old is continuously in limelight. “Taimur can’t run away from his popularity and neither can his parents. When I saw the doll, I wondered what I was supposed to say. But Saif pointed out that it’s because people love him so much and such things are a blessing for him," she told Mumbai Mirror.
"There is so much of genuine warmth for our son that it’s bad to stop people from clicking his pictures or making his dolls. But they should understand that he’s just a two-year-old child and needs a normal life. Both Saif and I are struggling to give him that and will continue to do so without telling the paparazzi to back off, no matter how annoying it gets after a point. It’s as tough on him as it is on Saif and me,” she added.
