ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of famous poet Fehmida Riaz.
In his condolence message, the minister said that the country was deprived of a voice for freedom of women and supporter of democracy.
The minister paid tributes to the deceased over her contribution in literary world and said that vacuum created by her death could not be filled.
He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
