A meeting of Hazara-1 and Hazara- 2 Circles held here with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pesco, Engineer Shabir Ahmad in the chair here at Wapda House Peshawar. Chief Commercial Officer, Mian Hamid, Director S&I Tahir Moeen, SEs, XENs, ROs, SDOs of both the circles attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed four targets of reduction in losses, enhancement of recovery, implementation of 100 per cent Photo Meter Reading and implementation of 100% EROs in detailed. The CEO suspended 3 SDOs of both circles for poor performance immediately. The suspended SDOs are Umar Hayat SDO Balakot, Sub-Division, Abdul Hafiz SDO Shamla Hill Sub-Division and Maqbool Ahmad Tajak SDO Ghazi Sub-Division.
He warned to improve performance otherwise they will not only be suspended but will be terminated from service. Similarly, CEO praised the improved performance of few SDOs and directed them to further improve it. The CEO also issued strict directions for the implementation of Equipment Removal Orders (EROs) & power supply be immediately disconnected who not depositing electricity bills. He urged to provide facilities to public and guide them in resolving their electricity problems at their door steps. He warned no additional or unscheduled load shedding will be tolerated and strict departmental action will be taken against the responsible. He directed the provision of new pending connections on emergent basis as sufficient number of three phase meters have been supplied to stores in Hazara Circle.
