On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 6.627 billion and the number of lots traded was 13,038. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,018.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.149 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 2.075billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.102 billion, silver PKR 124.130million, platinum PKR 121.639 million, copper PKR 24.152 million, natural gas PKR 18.695 millionand Brent crude oil PKR 11.196 million.
