Famous astrophysicist believes Elon Musk is better than Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg
Being a big fan of tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, famous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has claimed that Musk is more important than other big tech personalities and ‘will transform civilization as we know it’.
In a recent interview with CNBC, the renowned astrophysicist said that he believes billionaire Elon Musk is more likely to have a greater influence on society in the long run as compared to other tech biggies such as Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, former Apple CEO late Steve Jobs and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
“As important as Steve Jobs was, no doubt about it — [and] you have to add him to Bill Gates, because they birthed the personal computing revolution kind of together — here’s the difference: Elon Musk is trying to invent a future, not by providing the next app,” deGrasse Tyson said.

“Musk is not simply giving us the next app that will be awesome on our smartphone. No, he is thinking about society, culture, how we interact, what forces need to be in play to take civilization into the next century,” quoted Futurism.
Tyson continued saying that the SpaceX and Tesla CEO Musk ‘will transform civilization as we know it’. He mentioned that apart from manufacturing electric cars and planning to put people to Mars, Musk is also trying to revolutionize both human transportation and space exploration.
Though Musk is criticized by many, deGrasse Tyson believes that though Musk is loved by many people including Tesla owners and people interested in space exploration, he is still underappreciated.
“[W]e’re on the frontier of the future of civilization, and no I don’t think he gets his full due from all sectors of society, but ultimately he will when the sectors that he is pioneering transform the lives of those who currently have no clue that their life is about to change,” deGrasse Tyson expressed.
