'FWCCI to involve women entrepreneurs in national mainstream'

Establishment of Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) is right step to involve women entrepreneurs in national mainstream by exploiting their skills, said Mian Muhammad Adrees, former president Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI). While inaugurating the office of FWCCI at the third floor of FCCI complex, he said that women are an integral part of our society but we have crippled this important and major chunk of our population by restricting them to the houses.
He said that two seats have been reserved for women in FCCI but despite of this facility, the female entrepreneurs are reluctant to work with male entrepreneurs. He said that the FWCCI will provide them proper environment in which they could discuss and resolve their issues by themselves. He hoped that existing office-bearers of Women Chamber will motivate their maximum colleagues to get the membership of this chamber so that they could also play their role in the development of Faisalabad in addition to earning their own respectable livelihood.
