Supreme Court Monday rejected bail plea of Balochistan's former Finance Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani. Top anti-graft body had held Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani and two others for embezzling billion of rupees from local government funds for the financial year 2014-15. Appearing before a three-judge bench led by Justice Gulzar Ahmed on Monday, counsel for Raisani requested the court to grant bail to his client on medical ground, saying half of Raisani's body is paralyzed. However, Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked when billions of rupees of embezzled money are going to be lost, the physical condition of the accused could be critical.
