At least one person was killed and two members of the Village Defence Council critically injured when a remote-controlled bomb detonated in Swat's Malam Jabba area on Monday. SHO, Zaka Malam Jabba police station, Abdul Rahim told media that Nisar Khan was killed and Alamzaib Khan sustained injuries when a bomb exploded via a remote-controlled device at village Gatt in tehsil Charbagh.
Another person injured in the incident has been identified as Mehran. Police cordoned off the area and began investigation. The bang of explosion was heard at a very long distance. It was not immediately ascertained that who its intended target was. No arrest has been made so far.
