Miani Sahib Graveyard inaugurated

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Sumair Ahmed Syed on Friday inaugurated the construction and up-gradation work of Janazgha Miani Sahib Graveyard. The ceremony was attended by Additional Advocate General Punjab Umer Farooq Khan, legal advisor of Miani Sahib Graveyard Malik Maqbool Sadiq, Deputy Director Local government Afzal Rehan and others.
On the occasion, Sumair Ahmed Syed said that Rs 12.1 million has been earmarked for this up-gradation project, which would be completed within a span of two months. "Up-gradation work includes car and motorcycle parking, main gate of Janazgha, tube well, 'ghusalkhana' for dead body, extension of Janazgha area, walk ways, ablution areas, toilets and others," he said.
