At least 15 people killed and 29 others sustained wounds in a collision between a bus and a wagon on National Highway near Dasht area of Mastung district on Saturday. According to levies sources, a passenger wagon was on way to Quetta from Sibi when a bus carrying picnickers hit it which coming from opposition direction due to over speeding.
Law enforcement agencies reached the site and bodies and the injured were shifted to provincial civil hospital Quetta where hospital source Dr, Muhammad Wasim Baig said that about 15 people died and 29 others sustained injuries. The dead bodies were identified as Hayat Khan, Jilgraiz, Qadir, Shah Nawaz, Zulfiqar,Eid Muhammad, Shabir Ahmed, Jahngir Khan, Allah Dina, Salar, Muhammad Farooq, Saeed Ahmed, Aftab Ahmed, Atiq-ur-Rehman and Nazeer Ahmed.
The injured were identified as Kashmir, Hamid Bakhsh, Subhan, Zakiria, Allah Dad, Imran, Inayat, Rasool Bakhs, Juma Khan Abdul Haleem, Hidayatullah, Akhtar Muhammad, Abdullah, Habibullah, Muhammd Farooq, Muhammad Anwar, Muhammad Bilal, Allauddin, Farhan, Yasir, Fazlur Rehman, Irfan, Muhammad Salim, Manzoor, Abdul Wasay, Muneer, Talal Khan, Jalal Khan, Javed and Sallar.
Ten of the injured were discharged from hospital after treatments. The bodies of the deceased were being shifted to their native town through Eidhi Ambulances. Levies force has registered a case. Provincial Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch inquired after the health of injured while visiting civil hospital.
