On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.402 billion and the number of lots traded was 8,152. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,979. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.750 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 796.194 million, WTI crude oil PKR 400.122 million, platinum PKR 198.914 million, silver PKR 123.412 million, copper PKR 89.448 million, DJIA PKR 21.566 million, natural gas PKR 15.028 million, Brent crude oil PKR 5.803 million and SNP500 PKR 1.879 million.
