The owners of the empty industrial plots at Sundar Industrial Estate have received notices for setting up industrial units or get ready for the cancellation of their ownerships. Sources said a number of empty plots at the estate are not more than 60 and the management is pursuing the owners hard to materialize their industrial plans.
However, the business leadership has reacted to the move and demanded of the supply of utilities before asking for setting up industrial units. They have pointed out that the industrial estate management was unable to meet electricity need of already operating industrial units.
Similar is the case of gas supply and transportation facilities. Therefore, it is useless to invest there right now, they added. They have also demanded sufficient time for the investors to finalize their investment plans.
