The Regional Board Meeting (RBM) of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held under the chairmanship of Brigadier Farooq Naser Awan (retd), Director General (DG) NAB (KP) at Peshawar. The meeting was attended by Directors, Additional Directors, case officers, senior legal consultants and other concerned officers. The following decisions were taken during the meeting.
The Regional Board Meeting (RBM) authorized inquiries against University of Swat for alleged ignoring the recommendations of the Special Evaluation Committee for identification of suitable land for establishment of the university as a result of which this project of worth Rs 2.5 billion is suffering.
The subjects issued a letter to DOR, Swat for acquisition of land ignoring the recommendations of the Special Evaluation Committee and the minutes of meeting with DCO, Swat and Notification U/s 4 was issued. No approval has been taken from the syndicate or Senate of the University.
