The Director General, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC), Sheeraz Latif has informed that all technical issues of frequencies creating hurdles in smooth radio transmission are being tackled with appointment of required staff in order to provide better facilities to radio listeners. Talking to staff members during his visit to Bhitshah Radio Station on Tuesday, he said that the outdated system is being replaced with installation of state of the art equipments so that listeners could receive uninterrupted radio transmission with required frequency.
He said that the radio had the honour of producing world famous artists and the same spirit of introducing the new talent would continue. The artists are the assets and the doors of radio stations are always open for them, he added.
While talking about Radio Station Bhitshah, the Director General PBC said that the station has been engaged in spreading the message of great Sufi Saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai adding that the radio always played a vital role in promoting healthy activities and entertainment for listeners.
He asked the radio employees to discharge their responsibilities with dedication and devotion and provide healthy entertainment facilities to the listeners. The PBC management would not spare any ghost employee and action would be taken against those found negligent, he said. The Station Director Radio Bhitshah Mussarat Mangi and Director Programmes Fayyaz Baloch briefed the Director General PBC about the performance of the station. Sheeraz Latif accompanied by the Regional Director Radio Pakistan Hyderabad also visited the shrine of great Sufi Saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai where he laid floral wreath and offered Fateha.
