NED University of Engineering and Technology has become the top- ranked engineering university in Sindh and has second position in all public- sector universities of the province, according to QS Asia University Rankings 2018. Since 2014 NED has climbed the ranking ladder by 13.9 percent and is now in the top 2.5 percent among all Asian universities. It achieved the 301st spot this year.
After the announcement of these rankings, NED University is ranked fourth among all engineering universities in Pakistan, and is second among all Pakistani universities of engineering and technology. QS Rankings assess universities based on academic and employer reputations, faculty-student ratio, citation per faculty, international faculty and international students ratio.
