A stimulating series of cricket matches under the banner of Descon Super Cricket League 2017, had been played on Sunday. The exciting thing in that event was that the official referees of PCB along with professional Umpires had conducted these matches.
First round started at 09:00 am with a very fascinating and amazing passionate manner.
First match was played in cricket center model town between ABACUS and AKZONOBEL where AKZONOBEL won the match by 27 runs and Fateh Ameen Agha remained Man of the Match. Second match was played in race course ground-1, between Packages and CCI (Coke) in which Packages won by one wicket and Imran Bhatti was Man of the Match. 3rd Match between Meezan and Honda was played in race course ground-2 where Meezan Team declared winner by 54 runs and Mohsin Pervaiz was Man of the Match. 4th Match was played in Arfa Karim ground between Nestle and ICI teams in which ICI team won by 5 wickets.
Meanwhile in 2nd round of this event started a thrilling match in cricket center model town between Descon and Fatima Group where Descon won it by 7 wickets and Waseem Willium was Man of the Match. 2nd match was in race course ground-01 between FBR and Tetra Pak in which FBR was declared the winner by 91 runs and Syed Mehmood Jaffar was Man of the Match. In 3rd match between Nespak and PTV in race course ground-02, Nespak got victory by 7 wickets in 13-over and Imran Waheed was Man of the Match.
Last match of the round played between PC & Jazz in Arfa Karim tower where jazz won by 8 wickets. So, all the matches played with full of zeal, interest and passion and the atmosphere of a thrilling competition kept surrounded the grounds everywhere. The arrangements furnished by the Host team Descon which itself has been an unbeatable and winner team in all league matches and corporate tournaments under the captaincy of Faheem Mukhtar Butt fascinated all the participants and the cricket lovers as well.
