The intelligence agencies have warned of possible terrorist attack generally in the federal capital and particularly at National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) mega center. A senior official said that NADRA top officials have received alert regarding possible terror attack at mega center and therefore the authority official decided to temporarily close its office in Blue Area.
He said that the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has forewarned NADRA officials and Chief Commissioner Islamabad that three unknown terrorists have entered Islamabad and are planning to attack NADRA mega center.
The threat alert also urged the authorities concerned to heighten security of vital installations, buildings, hospitals and schools. Extreme vigilance and heightened security measures are suggested to avoid any untoward incident. In the wake of terror threats, the city police put security on high alert in the capital city and increased patrolling in different parts of the federal capital.
