Train fares from Lahore to Peshawar reduced

Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced reduction fare of Jaffar Express, Khyber Express, and Awami Express from Lahore to Peshawar which would be implemented from November, 1, 2017. According to the announcement, Air-conditioned (AC) class fare of Khyber Mail Express and Jaffar Express has been reduced from Rs 1740 to Rs 900. Fare of the Jaffar Express for Air-conditioned Sleeper class has been reduced from Rs 2280 to Rs 1410.
Meanwhile, reduction in fare of economy class in Jaffar and Awami Express has been reduced to Rs 460 rupees from Rs 700. It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Railways had already given ten percent reduction in fare on Branch Line trains.
