On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,046. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.136 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,004.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1.729 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS PKR 1.201 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 898.941 million, DJIA PKR 320.179 million, silver PKR 298.742 million, NSDQ100 PKR 290.374 million, platinum PKR 193.982 million, copper PKR 128.894 million, SNP500 PKR 47.880 million, natural gas PKR 18.750 million and Brent crude oil PKR 8.606 million.
