China's net gold imports via main conduit Hong Kong more than doubled in October from the previous month, data showed on Monday.
Imports via Hong Kong to China, the world's top consumer of the metal, jumped to 29.63 tonnes in October from 11.06 tonnes in September, according to data from the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department.
Total gold imports via Hong Kong surged 165 percent to 33.69 tonnes last month from 12.71 tonnes in September.
