The incidents of robberies and snatching have registered an upward trend in the federal capital, as various police stations of the city registered over seven cases of robbery, burglary and snatching during the last seven days. According to data gathered by Business Recorder here on Saturday, the police stations registered five cases of auto theft, seven cases of robberies, and one case each of murder and kidnapping. During the aforementioned period, Bhara Kahu police station registered overall three cases of robbery, murder and kidnapping.
One Muhammad Rafique informed Bhara Kahu Police Station that accused Gull Khitab, Wajid, Rukhsana Bibi and Riaz have kidnapped his daughter. Another Amjad Ali lodged a complaint with Bhara Kahu Police Station that unknown robbers have stolen laptop, LED, mobile phones, watches, gold ornaments and other valuables from his house.
One Ghulam Turi filed a complaint with Bhara Kahu Police Station that accused Yousaf along with five unknown accomplices have killed his son Binyamin over a land dispute, while he himself received bullet injuries. Ramna Police Station registered one case each of robbery and auto theft. One victim Azizur Rehman informed Ramna Police Station that accused Arbaz has stolen a laptop and a camera from his residential flat. The thieves stole a bike AGL-015 of Arfan Ahmed from the limits of same police station.
In the aforementioned period, an Australian citizen Jennifer Isoble Mchy informed Kohsar Police Station that he was on his way when unknown robbers intercepted him and snatched purse from him in the limits of Kohsar Police Station. The purse had foreign and local currencies, he further told police. In another incident, an accused Aamir Ali allegedly stormed into the house of Ihsan Ullah, located in the limits of Noon Police Station, and looted a computer, a CCTV camera and other valuables. Another person namely Mohsin informed Margalla Police Station that accused Kamran stole cash from his house.
