Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistani public especially buoyant people of Lahore welcome Sri Lankan players on their arrival at Lahore after eight years with glee. This visit of Sri Lankan players is a matter of immense pleasure for us and it had brought happiness on the faces of our cricket loving public.
The lively people of Lahore have maintained their tradition of hospitality by giving a grand welcome to the guest team, he added. The Chief Minister said this visit will open the ways of International Cricket in our country as arrival of International players supports the fact that Pakistan is a peaceful and secure region. He claimed that Punjab Government has ensured best arrangements for T-20 matches.
