The Governor/Chancellor has appointed Professor Dr Ashfaq Ahmad Maan, Chairman, Department of Rural Sociology as Dean Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Agriculture Faisalabad for the period of three years. Besides, 137 research publications to his credit, he has produced 11 PhDs and 153 MPhil as major supervisors. He has attended 15 national and international trainings and the author of six books. He has run 26 research projects and is the member supervisory committee of 19 PhDs.
