PMA stages demo

The Pakistan Medical Association on Tuesday staged a demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club, demanding regularization of all doctors of the health deepartment government of Sindh. They demanded time scale promotions for doctors' general cadre, a special cadre and dental surgeons. Among the other demands made by the demonstrators was enhance salaries and all allowances of doctors should be at par with salaries in other provinces. They said all doctors working in the rural areas of Sindh must be provided post-graduation opportunity on top priority.
