Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) athletes outclassed their competitors in the '2nd National Athletics Competition 2017,' as Wapda secures first position in three categories of the event, while second in the fourth category according to the medal tally.
The athletes from the four provinces namely Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Punjab and Sindh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit Baltistan (GB), Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Islamabad, Army, Higher Education Commission (HEC) Navy, Railways and Wapda participated in the event, a spokesperson of Wapda, said.
Following are results: Men (Junior): first position by Wapda and second position by HEC; Women (Junior): first position by Wapda and second position by HEC; Men (Youth): first position by Wapda and second position by Railways; Women (Youth): first position by Sindh and second position by Wapda.
