Former prime minister's daughter and PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz on Thursday said that Nawaz Sharif's return has spread 'disappointment' among some people. Talking informally to media persons here on Thursday, Maryam said, "Nawaz Sharif had to come back but his return has disappointed some people." Answering a question, she said, "It is not in the hands of a human being to keep some body away from power, it is Almighty Allah and after that people of Pakistan who decide about it." Let the people decide whether they want PML-N in the government or not, she insisted.
When asked about reports of differences within Sharif family, she said those who have expectations of differences in the family would have to face embarrassment. There is no truth in the reports about differences within Sharif family, she added Moreover, Maryam paid a visit to Lahore's NA-120 constituency and thanked the people for casting votes for PML-N in the bye-election held on September 17.
During the visit, Maryam assured resolution of issues being faced by the people of the constituency also pledged to launch development projects in the constituency.
Maryam also held meetings with local bodies' representatives of the constituency and also assured resolution of their issues. Sources told Business Recorder that Maryam Nawaz is going to undertake tour of different parts of Punjab to meet the party workers as a part of party preparations for the general elections. The sources claim that a schedule of visits is being planned and different wings of the PML-N have been asked to start necessary preparations.
