Police got hold of a truck carrying huge quantity of smuggled narcotics worth around rupees 200 million, from Manghopir, here on Tuesday. Police said that on a tip-off, they conducted a raid in Muhammad Khan Colony near Northern Bypass in Manghopir and recovered over 5000 Kg of high quality hashish concealed in the truck. The narcotics concealed in some 274 cartons were being smuggled from Karachi through the Northern Bypass. Police have initiated investigation as the driver and his accomplices managed to flee.
