FPCCI supports demands for withdrawal of RD

Businessman Panel at the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced to support the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry's demands for immediate withdrawal of regulatory duty and withholding tax. The Panel's chairman Mian Anjum Nisar while speaking a meeting held in connection with the FPCCI forthcoming election on Thursday urged the government to also withdraw Section 38-B and 40-B that empower the tax officials to conduct raids on business premises. LCCI former presidents Mian Muhammad Ali, Ch. Zafar Iqbal, Sohail Lashari, and other office bearers also attended the meeting.
