CCI meeting summoned

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has convened a meeting of Council of Common Interests (CCI) on Monday on the issue of delimitation of constituencies. The meeting will be attended by all the chief ministers with one-point agenda item to discuss the reservations of provinces on census and issue of delimitation of constituencies and the government will strive to end the deadlock on the issue. The meeting has been convened after a meeting of the parliamentary leaders on the delimitation of constituencies on the basis of the provisional results of the census ended without reaching any consensus.
