Chairman of United Business Group (UBG) Iftikhar Ali Malik has called a meeting of leaders of UBG in Lahore on November 15 to discuses group strategy vis-à-vis coming elections of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) for the year 2018. President of FPCCI and central secretary general of UBG, Zubair Tufail, said that his group would win the FPCCI elections again with thumping majority.
"We brought dictatorship in the FPCCI to an end. Now this august body is playing due role in national development," he said. Central spokesman of the group, Gulzar Feroze said that under the guidance of UBG chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik and patron-in-chief S M Muneer, the group would clean sweep the FPCCI elections. He emphasized the need of unity of business community. Gulzar Feroze said that till now no name has been finalized for seats of FPCCI that would fall vacant in December this year.
