Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, has directed the divisional GIS survey manager (urban unit) to complete the survey of property and professional tax in Sukkur with the support of concerned Excise and Taxation staff by March 31. Presiding over a meeting, he asked the concerned officers to provide complete support to the staff assigned for the purpose. He urged that all legal aspects must be kept in mind to avoid any problem.
The DG ET & NC Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui assured the minister that incessant departmental support would continue for the members of relevant teams. Secretary Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Abdul Haleem Shaikh and DG Siddiqui briefed the meeting on overall progress and smooth conduct of property listing survey in Sukkur. The meeting was briefed that B-1 Ward would be surveyed as a pilot project and it would be model for survey in other Wards.
