Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has organized a diabetes awareness program and medical camps to mark World Diabetes Day at Central Telegraph Office, Karachi. Senior Medical Officers Dr Iffat Fauzia, Dr Nauman Rizwan and Dr Tariq Saeed delivered lectures on the theme "Women & Diabetes" Our Right to a Healthy Future."
Medical experts gave a detailed presentation about the prevalence of diabetes in Pakistan and prevention strategies. The program was followed by question & answer session. A free sugar camp was also arranged during this session organized by Rahila Research & Reference Lab (Pvt) Ltd. The program was attended by large number of PTCL employees and their families.
