On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,075. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 8.438 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,079.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 4.195 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 2.127 billion, DJIA PKR 639.660 million, WTI crude oil PKR 615.596 million, silver PKR 233.239 million, platinum PKR 219.082 million, copper PKR 123.280 million, NSDQ100 PKR 107.417 million, SNP500 PKR 77.290 million, Brent crude oil PKR 53.355 million and natural gas PKR 46.080 million.
