The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has recommended to its headquarter to place the names of deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz on the Exit Control List (ECL). The former prime minister's sons are accused in three references - Avenfield properties, Azizia Steel Mills and Hill Metals Establishment, and Flagship Investment Ltd - filed by NAB against the Sharif family.
Sources said that NAB Lahore office has sent a letter to its headquarters in this connection requesting to recommend to Ministry of Interior to place name of both sons of former prime minister on no fly list. The NAB headquarter has received the request of NAB Lahore office, they said. The accountability court, hearing NAB references against Sharif family had declared Hassan and Hussain as absconders for not appearing before the court.
