Director General (DG) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Brigadier Farooq Naser Awan (R) distributed cheques amounting to Rs 4.709 million amongst seven affectees of Zohaib Garden, Mardan and Islamabad in a ceremony held at NAB (KP). NAB KP have received several complaints against the accused Amjad Ali Khan and others alleging cheating public at large. The NAB authorities while taking cognizance of the complaints authorized an inquiry to ascertain the real facts.
During the course of inquiry it was revealed that accused Amjid Ali Khan along with his other associates enticed and motivated general public through attractive advertisements to invest money with them in fraudulent housing scheme "Zohaib Garden" at Jail road Mardan, for providing them plots. Further they also lured the general public to invest in fake company with the name of "Rifah & Zohaib Associates and Sohaib Commercial Tower" Mall Road Mardan. The DG NAB (KP) assured the general public that NAB (KP) will continue its efforts without any fear or favour and ensure the recovery of looted money from the culprits and return to its rightful heirs.
