University of Sindh held a special meeting of syndicate under chairmanship of Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat, Vice- Chancellor, University of Sindh whereby important resolutions were approved. It was resolved to adopt and implement the Plagiarism Policy of HEC in letter and spirit.
Syndicate, under Section 3 of protection of women against harassment at workplace Act 2010, constituted a 3 member enquiry committee, consisting of the following to enquire into the harassment cases in University of Sindh Prof Dr Nagina Parveen Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Sajid Qayoom Memon, Registrar, Dr Sumera Umrani, Director, STAGS. Apart from that, it was resolved to adopt HEC's Policy Guidelines against Sexual Harassment in Institutions of Higher Learning.
