Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader and former Chief Minister Punjab Ch Pervez Elahi has held the present rulers responsible for the killing of youth going abroad for employment as they have not created enough employment opportunities for the people in the country. "People will continue to go abroad in search of employment through illegal means, falling in the hands of greedy agents and becoming victims of different incidents and miseries, as long as there are no jobs in their own country" he lamented.
Commenting on the killing of 20 young men of Gujranwala division in Balochistan while going abroad illegally in a week, Ch Pervez Elahi said that there is a grave need for effective and result-oriented action against networks of agents and human smugglers who in greed for commission befool the youth and play with their lives to curb such inhuman incidents in future.
He said instead of empty verbal talks it is very essential that maximum employment opportunities are created and educated youth are provided jobs in the country. Ch Pervez Elahi made telephone calls to the bereaved families on Sunday and expressed sorrow and regrets over massacre of the youth from Gujrat and other districts going in search of employment in Balochistan.
