As many as 279 graduates of National University of Sciences & Technology received Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees at the combined convocation of School of Natural Sciences (SNS), Atta-ur-Rahman School of Applied Bio-Sciences (ASAB) and School of Art, Design and Architecture (SADA) here at NUST main campus on Tuesday. Lieutenant General Naweed Zaman (retd), Rector NUST, graced the occasion as chief guest and awarded degrees to the graduates in the disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Architecture, Industrial Design, Healthcare Biotechnology, Industrial Biotechnology, Plant Biotechnology and Applied Biosciences.
In his convocation address, Rector NUST extended his heartiest felicitations to the graduating students and their proud parents and faculty. He urged upon the graduates to ceaselessly explore new vistas of knowledge and innovation; transcend themselves as professionals; and, in so doing, inspire the world with their compassion.-PR
