Private sector is ready to share the government's socio-economic responsibility provided it takes private sector into confidence and takes its policy makers onboard. Acting President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khawaja Khawar Rasheed stated this during a visit to Ghurki Trust Hospital along with the executive committee members on Thursday.
He said good collaboration between the government and the private sector is solution to all problems whether it is economic or social. He said the business community is already active in social sector and exploiting its all resources for the help of ailing humanity. The Lahore Chamber is also performing its social and moral obligations in a winsome manner.
He said the Lahore Chamber is not only playing a leading role for the promotion of trade and industry but was also quite active in the social sector. The LCCI would extend maximum cooperation to the Ghurki Trust Hospital in its efforts for provision of health facilities to the ailing humanity and desire to make joint efforts to help boost the standard of services being offered by the hospital.
