The Met Office has said that a shallow westerly wave is affecting northern parts of the country. In forecast for today, it said that mainly coldy and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, light rain-thunderstorm with light snowfall over the hills is expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan. Foggy conditions are likely over few plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning hours.
