Zardari to follow ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari Thursday expressed his resolve to follow the ideology of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and philosophy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

While expressing his views on the 51st Founding Day of Pakistan People’s Party, he said PPP leadership and workers had set an example of historic struggle against tyranny and injustices, said a press release issued here.

Zardari said PPP reiterates its resolve to keep striving for the rule of law and supremacy of Parliament. PPP restored the 1973 constitution and made the Parliament all-powerful thus realizing the dream of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

PPP gave identity to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan, he said.
