The 7th Emergent Board Meeting of Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) on Thursday unanimously approved the establishment of sports complex at Government Technology College Shahdarra. The meeting was presided over by Chairman TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh whereas the meeting was attended by Syed Yawar Ali, Ali Pervaiz, Asim Qadri, Rahmat Ullah Javaid, Nilofar Sikandar, Rehan Naseem, Nasir Iqbal and other TEVTA officials.
While addressing the Board Meeting chairman Irfan Qaiser Sheikh briefed the members about the establishment of the sports complex and said that 114 kanals land of the college is available therefore the state of the art sport complex will be establish at this land. He also said that at the sports complex different sports facilities including cricket, hockey, squash and others will be provided.
Talking about the construction plan of the complex Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that initially the complex will be constructed and operated in collaboration with Lahore Development Authority and Sports Department Punjab.
