Kohat Police arrested four suspects from Malangabad area during a search operation against criminals and out-laws. The police recovered two Kalashnikovs, pistol and hundreds of cartridges from their possession. The Police Station Jungle Khel has registered separate cases against them.
The accused have been identified as Kashif, son of Tariq, Habibullah, son of Hayat Khan, residents of Malangabad, Mohammad Aziz, son of Nasim Khan, resident of Charbagh Jungle Khel and Sajidullah son of Himayatullah, Resident of KDA Sector-1. On intelligence report, the SHO Jungle Khel along with heavy contingent of police personnel cordoned of village Malangabad and conducted search operation in the locality and during raids and search operation arrested the four suspects. Meanwhile, during crackdown against narcotics, Kohat Cantonment Police arrested four narcotics peddlers after recovery of big cache of Charas and liquor from their possession.
The arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Nadeem Khan, son of Asal Khan, Sher Mohammad, son of Ajab Khan, Wajid Ali son of Mohammad Ali, residents of Mohammadzai and Ram Lal son of Som Suraj, resident of Ghari Risaldar. The police has recovered two and half kilogram best quality Charas and four bottles of locally manufactured liquor from them. Police Station, Cantonment, has registered FIRs against the accused and further investigations were in progress.
