On the directives of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pesco Engineer Shabir Ahmad drive against illegal use of electricity is continued throughout Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this connection Pesco Surveillance Wapda House Teams under the supervision of Director Tahir Moeen checked different areas of Pahari Pur, City-2 sub-division D I Khan, Draban sub-division, Lakki sub-division, Gumbela sub-division of Bannu Circle.
During the checking industrial meter of Gohar Sher Ice Factory was found tampered while an illegal transformer was also found. Direct connection of Fazal Rehman Ice factory was nabbed while direct meter of petrol pump was nabbed. Similarly, meter of Gohar Sher store was found 66% slow while ATB was found tampered while meter of Numan Ice factory was found slow. During the checking 2 illegal meters of Margala marriage hall was caught. 60000 pending and unbilled units were found in the meter of Nasir Store while the meter of Irrigation tube well was found tampered. The team also unearthed direct supply of doctors' hostel while meter of Amin flour machine was found 33% slow.
