On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,087. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.533 billion and the number of lots traded was 7,647.
Major business was contributed by gold PKR 2.214 billion, followed by WTI crude oil PKR 1.138 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.048 billion, silver PKR 255.877 million, SNP500 PKR 244.439 million, platinum PKR 217.626 million, DJIA PKR 178.757 million, NSDQ100 PKR 91.311 million, natural gas PKR 70.088 million, copper PKR 38.684 million and Brent crude oil PKR 35.341 million.
