The Businessmen Panel (BMP) has expressed confidence that the FPCCI will change its leadership after three years through democratic process by the end of this year as the Balochistan Chamber has announced its support for BMP's presidential candidate Senator Ghulam Ali.
Chairman BMP, Mian Anjum Nisar said here on Thursday that Balochistan Chambers of Commerce leaders" announcement is a clear message for the ruling United Business Group (UBG) that trade bodies were fed up with them. In last three years the business community of Balochistan has been continually ignored and not a single issue was addressed by the FPCCI regarding Balochistan.
He said Balochistan have a significant importance for Pakistan as well as for the business community, that's why Balochistan is a center of gravity for China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and when its business community flourishes, then Pakistan flourishes Spokesperson of BMP, Ahmad Jawad said FPCCI elections will be held on 29th of December, and preparations of BMP and its alliance Partner PBG are in full swing. "We have placed all candidates for the different slots of FPCCI", he clarified.
Jawad said our slogan "let's revive FPCCI" has a great appeal for the business community that is why FPCCI members from across Pakistan are contacting us expressing deep dissatisfaction regarding UBG leadership. He claimed that UBG senior members from Mardan have also supported candidature of Senator Haji Ghulam Ali as a President FPCCI for 2018 on account of his rich experience and knowledge about administering affairs of the apex trade body.
Senator Glulam Ali has already served as Vice President for the Islamic Chambers of Commerce & Industry (apex body of the Islamic countries) as well as Chairman Standing Committee on Commerce in Senate of Pakistan. The Spokesperson claimed that FPCCI 2018 is going to set a mile stone, and we bow our heads for the service of the business community across Pakistan with vision and effective business plan under the energetic leadership of the BMP.
