Third anniversary of the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Warsak road, Peshawar was observed in Landi Kotal Khyber Agency with the pledge that every offense against citizens and the country would be foiled jointly. In this connection a gathering was organized under the auspices of local Christian community here in Government Girls' High Secondary School on Saturday which was participated by children and female members.
Speaking on the occasion, elite of the community, Kiran Kiramat said that the miscreants will never suppress us by executing malpractices like APS and the new generation of Pakistan will never be restrained form getting education. "Peace has been restored in the country with precious sacrifices of security agencies and no will be permitted to sabotage it," he added.
Candle vigilance session was initiated in which the participants lit candles to pay homage to the deceased and to express support to the effected families. At the end a peace walk was also conducted. It is to be mentioned here that on December 16, 2014, six volunteers of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) broke into the Army Public School Peshawar and brutally shot and killed 150 students and teachers and injured more than 40 of them.
